RYBODYN FEATURED IN UNION-TRIBUNE AS LILLY GATEWAY LABS OPENS IN SAN DIEGO
RyboDyn is honored to be featured in the San Diego Union-Tribune following the grand opening of Eli Lilly and Company Gateway Labs on Torrey Pines Mesa.
The new facility represents a meaningful expansion of San Diego’s life sciences ecosystem—bringing together early-stage biotech companies within a purpose-built environment designed for collaboration, shared infrastructure, and access to world-class expertise. The site can support up to 15 emerging companies and provides access to advanced instrumentation and resources typically out of reach for startups .
For RyboDyn, the decision to build at Gateway Labs reflects the importance of proximity to both cutting-edge science and experienced drug development partners. As highlighted in the article, our founding team came together around a shared vision to explore a new class of targets within what we call the “dark proteome”—an area of biology with the potential to unlock entirely new therapeutic opportunities .
We’re especially proud to see our founders, Corey Dambacher and Imad Ajjawi, featured in the article’s lead image—representing not just RyboDyn, but the next generation of companies advancing frontier biology from right here in San Diego.
As Gateway Labs opens its doors, we’re excited to be part of a growing community of innovators working at the intersection of discovery and translation—alongside peers including HAYA Therapeutics, Circular Genomics, Z-Alpha Therapeutics, Modulo Bio, and Kenai Therapeutics.
